New Albany Historic Preservation Commission holds monthly public meetings to conduct their business which includes reviewing Certificates of Appropriateness.
The Preservation Commission meets on the third Wednesday of every month at the City County Building, 7:00 p.m. (date, time, and location are subject to change). To confirm the meeting, please email or call Laura Renwick or any member of the Commission.

1813 East Oak Street peacockpreservation@gmail.com Christina has spent over fifteen years studying, interpreting, and researching history, architecture, and archaeology. Her experience has been both voluntary and professional including reenacting, cultural-historic surveying, archaeological excavation, and archival research. In 2003 she joined the Falls of the Ohio Archaeology Society (FOAS) and served as secretary from 2005 until 2010. She has recently finished her Master's Degree in Historic Preservation from the University of Kentucky. Her areas of expertise include chain of title research, building documentation, historic construction methods, and conditions analysis. Her research led to her exploration of thermal imaging as a conditions analysis method for masonry construction al a part of her final Master's Project. In June of 2010 she launched Peacock Preservation Consulting LLC, a preservation consulting firm.
