Henrietta Borgerding Slovensky had this house built circa 1902, shortly after the tragic death of her husband. Mrs. Slovensky continued to live in the home until 1920. The current owner of the home received a 'Facelift Award' from the city's Historic Preservation Commission in 2010 for his outstanding rehabilitation of the house.
