Listing Description:
This commercial structure was built circa 1970 on the former site of Trinity Methodist Episcopal Church. The church began in 1854 as the John Street Church, just a few blocks away at East 11th and Spring streets. The John Street Church merged with two others in 1890 to become Trinity. One photo below shows the church circa 1905, while the other, from the collection of the Indiana Room at the New Albany-Floyd County Library, shows it demolition in 1959.
