This Greek Revival-style home was likely built by notable New Albany architect and master builder Isaac Smith. The design is very similar to many of his documented New Albany structures. Elizabeth Haskin Richards, wife of the Honorable George A. Bicknell, Jr., purchased the home in 1857 for $4550 from her father's estate.
