Listing Description:
Kaiser's Tobacco was founded in 1832 and is New Albany's oldest continuous business, as well as being a state-recognized Centennial Business.

This brick building was constructed in 1886 for Mrs. Josephine Kaiser by master builder John Naifus, and has changed very little from its original appearance, even retaining its original operable awning. The limestone storefront was the work of New Albany firm Crumbo & Melcher.
