Take a tour of the oldest surviving building in New Albany, the 1814 home of founding father Joel Scribner. The home has been meticulously cared for and operated as a museum by the Piankeshaw Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution for more than a century. Restoration work is ongoing, including recent projects to restore the windows in the house and summer kitchen, repair plaster and install period-appropriate wall coverings, and install a new wood shingle roof, in addition to significant structural repairs.
