This circa 1870 building has held a number of different uses through the years. Per the Sanborn Fire Insurance maps, in 1886 the west half of the building housed a cigar shop and billards parlor, while a stationery store occupied the east half. A barber was at the ground floor of 105 East Main in 1891, while a photography studio was on the third floor at both addresses.
The 1898 and 1905 Sanborn maps show photography studio remaining on the upper floor, while by 1905 an 'electrical shop' was in the street level space at 107.
