A Federal-style commercial building once stood on this site, now a vacant lot. The photo below, from the collection of the Indiana Room, New Albany-Floyd County Public Library, shows the building circa 1980.

Two early 20th-century, one-story commercial buildings stood to the east of the Federal-style building. They are shown during the 1937 flood in the second photo, also from the library's collection.
