Inman-Wettig-Zabel House
319 East 15th Street
New Albany, IN 47150

Listing Description:
This home, along with 317, 321 and 323 East 15th Street, appears to have been built by businessman Charles W. Inman for investment purposes. Charles purchased the property from Mary Trinler in 1908 and had these four houses built immediately.

The first owner occupant of the home was insurance agent, Albert Wettig in 1920. Arthur Zabel, secretary of Zabel Milling Co. purchased the property in 1925, followed by Frank Breese in 1940. The home has had a number of occupants since that time.

The photo below shows the house as it appeared in 1970, with a fanlight in the front gable.
