This site appears to have been used as the parsonage for the adjacent Calvary Methodist Church on Spring Street even prior to the construction of the current home. The new church on the corner of 5th and Spring was completed in 1889, and a series of pastors were subsequently shown residing in this location. The current home appears to date to about 1910.
