Sunday, May 6 - Floyd County Historical Society Brunch/Padgett Museum 175th birthday celebration

Join the Floyd County Historical Society for its annual fundraising brunch, which will include a celebration of the 175th anniversary of the construction of the William Young House.

Thursday, May 10 - 'Preservation, Revitalization & Economic Sustainability'

Bill Weyland, AIA, CityVision Associates

Architect/developer Bill Weyland has been involved with many of Louisville’s most notable preservation projects, including Glassworks, the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory, and the Henry Clay Building. Using that experience, he will discuss preservation as a tool for economic growth, the role of public-private partnerships in downtown revitalization, and much more.

Wednesday, May 16 - New Albany Historic Preservation Commission's Facelift Awards

Join the NAHPC for a reception and presentation of the annual Facelift Awards, recognizing outstanding preservation and rehabilitation projects within the city. Regular meeting of the NAHPC follows and is open to the public.
