Listing Description:
This apartment building was constructed sometime around 1970, on the site of the c.1855 Moody-Webber House. James C. Moody was a local attorney and had purchased numerous parcels in the Whitehall plat, this being one of them. He sold his home in 1856. By 1863, Hiram B. Webber had bought the property and remained through 1873. Mr. Webber was associated with several different dry goods firms, with numerous partners, including Washington C. DePauw, William McKnight and A.W. Bentley. The house was demolished by about 1950.
